Hi all, Jax here!
I was laying on the heating vent, blowing my fur all over the place, and suddenly, out the window, I see this small, white, bit of sky fall! Now I've seen things fall from the sky before - do I even need to tell you how annoying that "rain" stuff is when I'm trying to do my business? But this was different. Girl and Boy and Little Girl were suddenly VERY excited and started getting on their outside furs. I, of course, didn't need anything extra, and ran to the door. The Mom said, "This is snow, Jax! We'll need to get out your Snowman Classy Collar to celebrate the first snow of the season!" So, the kids got their furs and heavy feet on, and we all ran outside. By now, many, MANY white pieces were on the ground and a TON of it was coming out of the sky. Girl took some off the ground and made it into... oh wow! A BALL! Woohoo! Throw that thing, Girl! She threw it at BOY, though, and not for me to get? What's up with that?? I was about to whine my complaint when Boy threw another one of the snow-balls at Girl, but he missed and I got it! But it just....dissolved?!? Wha?? Little Girl threw another ball for me to get and it dissolved just like the last one! I'm not liking this AT ALL. But they were having fun and running and playing and that's what I like to do most, so I put aside the mystery, and ran and played and jumped and rolled in the white stuff. So cold, but so much fun! After the Girl, Boy, and Little Girl got tired, they rolled the white stuff into three REALLY BIG balls and put them on top of each other. I don't know what the point of this exercise was, but whatever they made must have been cold and hungry because they gave it a hat and a scarf, and a carrot. The Mom took pictures of us in front of the thing, and we reluctantly went inside to get all the snow inside as well. I was subjected to a bit of rough handling as I was towelled down, but a treat fixed my feelings and we all sat in front of the window and watched as more of the snow came down. Boy and Girl had better get their shovel out, as I'm not going out there unless there's a spot for me! Peace out, and happy Winter, Pups!
